- Don’t just post. Resolve to post and publish constantly and consistently across each of your social media platforms. Think of it this way: Your clients and customers don’t want unreliable service, so don’t give them unreliable posts, tweets, and blogs. Set a schedule and commit to providing a high quantity of high-quality content.
- Don’t forget your audience. Resolve to understand your audience, your fans, your past, present, and future clients. Then, tailor your posts to those individuals. Do not write or create based on what you want to publish – post and publish based on what your audience wants to engage with.
- Don’t simply use text. Resolve to use images and photography to boost your brand and your content. Even if you want to feature a specific quote or motto in your content, focus on creating imagery on social cards with those words. As we’ve noted before, photos lead to a much higher engagement rate. Become a master storyteller with imagery, and see your social engagements – and your leads – increase at a steady rate.
